SHBC Celebrating 150 years
150th Anniversary Celebrations

We are pleased to be able to celebrate the above occasion with a whole year of activities including both special events and our regular church services.

At a meeting on July 13th 1873 a decision was made to form Small Heath Baptist Church. 150 years later we remain a clear sign of God’s love and power and are an important presence in the local community.

The main weekend will be a meeting on the same date, Thursday July 13th to mark the above occasion. This will be followed by an Anniversary Celebration on Saturday July 15th and a Special Anniversary Service at 11am on Sunday July 16th.

The year will start with our Annual Covenant Communion Service on Sunday January 8th at 11am and will end with our regular Christmas services in December. Not forgetting Easter in between.

In between there will be lots of regular things like our Saturday coffee mornings which will be held about every 6 weeks. As well as us making contact with the local community the Church building will be open for visitors to walk round, ask questions as well as look at our photos and history boards.  More details to follow in October.  Please check this website for further information.
